Greetings friends and associates!  I have some great news to share with you about our company Keller Williams Realty. Please take a minute to review this memo and the attached Real Estate Trends Report.

A couple of highlights in this publication include:

1.    Keller Williams Realty International is recognized as the #1 trendsetter for 2009.
2.    Keller Williams Realty received the highest overall satisfaction rating by J.D. Powers and Associates for the 2nd straight year.
3.    Keller Williams Realty was recognized in December of 2009 as the #1 real estate franchise.
4.    A recent and highly credible survey of over 10,000 agents ranked Keller Williams as the most recognized real estate franchise brand as voted by the industry.
5.    Keller Williams recently surpassed ReMax to become the 3rd largest real estate company in the country.  (as of this month, we have well over 77,000 agents and 700 offices located throughout the United States, Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada.)

Here in Gig Harbor we finished 2009 with a solid profit.  As the only open book AND profit sharing real estate company in the area, we credit our agent/partners for securing an incredible track record of success in this challenging market.  We are approaching 2010 with a high level of intentional planning and optimism for another successful and profitable year.

Early in 2009, we remodeled and updated our offices here on Burnham Drive.  Mid year we welcomed Narrows West Escrow and North Pacific Financial services as new tenants to our building.   These additions allow us to offer convenient escrow and mortgage services to our client base.  Olympic Crest Insurance will soon open offices in the Burnham Partners building, which is the new 14,000 square foot medical and professional office building adjacent to our building.   In December of 2009, we launched our Commercial Property Division with 3 outstanding commercial property specialists.   Starting in January of 2010, 13 of our top agents committed to attending BOLD, a new and revolutionary Keller Williams training program geared for high production, customer service, and professionalism.   And recent additions to our residential sales force include quality agents from both Pierce and Kitsap Counties.

You have without doubt heard of the uncertainty and chaos surrounding the Real Estate Industry.  We are fortunate to report that Keller Williams International enjoys the rare status of being “debt free.”  We are very proud that our offices are fully prepared to weather the current economic storm, and deliver a variety of top notch real estate services to all of our friends, clients, and fellow professionals.  Short sales, bank repossessions, and foreclosures were once a rare occurrence in the Gig harbor and South Kitsap areas-but they have become a necessary part of our expertise.

We love to witness the success of our agents who benefit from the systems, programs, education, and profit sharing opportunities that are offered.  And, we continue to receive rewarding and incredible response from our satisfied customers and clients for the high level of service we provide.

To conclude– It is a true privilege to be associated with Keller Williams International which is widely recognized as the most innovative real estate franchise in North America.  On February 22, 2010, at the annual Keller Williams reunion in New Orleans, it was announced by company leaders that between 2010 and 2020, the company will expand to World Wide markets and increase its agent base from 77,000 to 300,000 agents.  Keller Williams is on a steady and predictable track to become the #1 real estate company of choice in the World!!
